Your Impact: What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll serve as a mentor, coach, and advocate, empowering individuals to reach their personal goals while building confidence and independence.
Empower Independence
- Support individuals in developing daily living, social, and community integration skills.
- Encourage self-confidence, decision-making, and personal growth.
Foster Meaningful Experiences
- Plan and facilitate engaging recreational, educational, and life-skills activities.
- Help individuals discover new interests, talents, and opportunities.
Connect with the Community
- Assist participants during community outings, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities.
- Encourage meaningful relationships and community involvement.
Promote Person-Centered Support
- Provide compassionate care while respecting each individual's choices, dignity, and goals.
- Foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Celebrate Success
- Recognize and encourage achievements, both big and small.
- Help individuals overcome challenges and reach meaningful milestones.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who lead with compassion, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet:
- High school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant work or life experience.
Additionally, candidates must have:
- A valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation with current insurance
- Ability to complete required background screenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, dependable, team-oriented attitude
